The Cytosheath® is a specialized device used to improve the collection of endocervical cells.
Although the Cytosheath® may be used as part of an ECC brush biopsy, it can also be used as a method of collecting more endocervical cells as part of a routine Thin Prep Pap smear.
Through our in-house studies we have documented a 170 percent increase in endocervical cells.
Through better sampling we hope to detect more disease.
